Improved Toyota Tundra Scores Help Toyota Reclaims Consumer Reports Reliability Crown, Despite Engine Failure Recalls

It's not like the Tundra became the "most reliable" PU sold. It's still rated below Ford and barely beats the GM twins which have similar engine issues. I'm still laughing by just how badly the Ram has dropped. All the other full-sizes are rated 40-49 in reliability. The Ram? A big whopping 5...

New Trump CAFE standards rollback Biden targets to 34.5 MPG, reduce new vehicle prices – how it will impact your next truck purchase

That's basically it in a nutshell. With the added fact that prices are not going to drastically drop, ever, no matter what changes. They may stay the same, but they will not drop.

GM Truck, SUV Owners Lose OnStar Cabin Temperature Feature Thanks to Software Goof

So they can still remote start via the app but they do not have the ability to adjust cabin temp when doing so? Rather crappy to downgrade their abilities whether it was a mistake or not. Seems that if it's possible and you are paying for the app, then you should get the feature. I can't think...

GM 3.0L Duramax Diesel Thrust Bearing Problem Causes Engine Failure, No Recall?

Being as I have not owned a GM since a 2000 Astro, which we loved, I have no dog in this fight but from the outside, it always seems like GM goes kicking and screaming to the "recall solution". Ford issues them on a daily and Toyota seems to be rather liberal as well. Ram kinda shrugs and seems...

    Pissed at GM and Allison

Sadly, you will always get hate comments from hard-core fanboys. It's part and parcel for that group, defend the name no matter the cost. How many times have all heard the "Yeah, it's got this, this and that wrong with it, but I still feel it is the best truck on the market today!"? And being...

Many New Expensive Trucks Can’t Follow California Winter Tire Chain Law

Yeah, I always carried chains when I lived in Cali. Honestly, the only time I took them out of the nag was the test fit. Included them with the truck when I sold it. You really do not want to be out there any time when you actually need them anyway. I remember trucks in Oregon just had two...

Questions about my new Big Horn Night Edition: E-Locker axle? Flashing lights on steering wheel... Hot engine compartment hours after shut off, & more

LOL...that's funny! The line must have been short the locker control panels so they just installed a non-locking version. Might be why it didn't have the cost next to it because it was "incomplete". These parts shortages are getting nuts. Seems like the exceptions to the rules they suffered...

New Ram Midsize Truck Production to Ohio, New Jeeps for Illinois – Record $13 Billion Invested in U.S.

I wonder when that perception started? Seems like it has as long as I can remember. Even back in the '80s, Dodge was always the last to be considered because Ford/Chevy were the front runners. Was that the reason? Being small and uncommon made people think unreliable?

Questions about my new Big Horn Night Edition: E-Locker axle? Flashing lights on steering wheel... Hot engine compartment hours after shut off, & more

It's odd how it was on the Monroney but no price next to it. Almost like it was just a typo.

Questions about my new Big Horn Night Edition: E-Locker axle? Flashing lights on steering wheel... Hot engine compartment hours after shut off, & more

It would be on the top-front of the diff. The back is just the removable cover. Here is a pic of a rearend with the e-locker.

GM, Ford Applaud Trump 25% Medium-, Heavy-Duty Truck Tariff Blast Ram Trucks Waiver Appeal

Hard to argue much about it. Generally, our economy grew. But would it have grown more without it? No one can really answer. Just like now, hard to predict the future other than watch leading indicators of trouble.

lol...I guess all the tariffs could be called that.

Questions about my new Big Horn Night Edition: E-Locker axle? Flashing lights on steering wheel... Hot engine compartment hours after shut off, & more

How about this: Crawl under the truck and look for any wiring harness going into the rear diff. No wire? No e-locker.....

‘Diesel Brothers’ Heavy D Claims Victory, Released From Jail – the Whole Story

To me it's one of those things....it's law on the books so if one wants to take it to civil court they can, even if the law doesn't want to prosecute or finds the plaintiff not-guilty. Pretty much the same for any of those "wrongful death" suits like OJs. Or going after a dealership if you get...

Are New Trucks Built to Fail? Planned Obsolescence Examined

    Crappy @#$%ing parts

And if he made that video everyone would scream that he "sold out to the man!". Shoulda been a parts guy... Because it's soooo obvious today's vehicles are absolute crap...
