    Ruling from the Supreme Court

The big fight will be over the refunds. First will be the argument if the refunds even get made. And then, if the $150 billion that was collected is paid back to the businesses, will they in turn pay us back since we paid for it through the raised prices? Of course, they'll argue that which will...

Extended warranty due to new truck prices

The wife always gets a warranty and tried to use it for a van back in 2004 for the tranny, but it was denied. Mech knew the TQ convertor was going but the warranty company said they'd take the chance it wouldn't fail before the warranty ended. They won that bet and we ate it as it failed shortly...

    Used truck on the channel

I see. You'd use the Tremor to compare to other press trucks. Not a terrible idea as the Ford is still current, it's a choice anyone shopping new would have. And when you get the Silverado, it'll be the long-time rivalry of current Ford vs latest Chevy.

    Used truck on the channel

So tough to get good comparisons from something like that since they are still pretty far apart. Someone would always throw that in your face. Maybe if after the RHO you got two used trucks from different brands of mid-tier like an XLT and a Big Horn then compared those two on price, cost of...

Extended warranty due to new truck prices

Nope. I still don't believe in them. If repair costs were so high and so common, they'd never make money on those warranties. Yet they sell them like crazy. To me, I still equate it to buying a lottery ticket. Except if you win, you really lose because your truck broke.

Top 5 Features Trucks Need to Bring Back

Funny thing about bumpers. I bought a brand-new Jeep Comanche off the lot. It actually had a 2x4 bolted to the back because it did not come with a bumper. Bumpers back then, like radios, were optional.....lol

Oh without doubt. But in the context of features...they don't matter.

    16 year old tires

That's what I have always known, 10 years. Trailer tires are always the biggest violators. People hate replacing tires that appear perfectly fine.

Top 5 Features Trucks Need to Bring Back

Fleet sales mean nothing to individual buyers. If anything, that's probably the only reason why an individual can still buy a base vehicle.

Top 5 Features Trucks Need to Bring Back

You would think if simplicity were so desired, then no one would be buying anything above the basic truck models but that doesn't appear to be the case. Entry level is far from the most popular.

What used truck buying research do you do?

When I buy used, I just give it an overall conditional inspection based on price. I'd rather see older tires because that shows even or uneven wear. New tires are suspect. I don't care for most mods because they are rarely done well and screw up factory parts installing them. If they are asking...

How automakers calculate GVWR and curb weight

You should do an article/video to sort through this. Pointing out specifically how each brand accounts for the weight of people. So, according to the above, Ford adds 750lbs to its curb weight just for people? That mean a single 250lb driver can add 500lbs of payload without exceeding GVWR...

GM, Allison Renew Brand Partnership: 2026 GM HD Trucks with Allison Badging Returns

lol....yep. So many are always betting on every rumor to come true hoping to cash in if they hit the lotto. Of course, if you try to call them on it they say their video helped change the minds of those involved. It's a win-win!

GM 3.0L Duramax diesel known problem in the cold with no fix

Well, that's just damn goofy. I agree, should be able to plug it in at any temp honestly.

Modern Truck Tailgates Compared: Useful Innovation or Just a Gimmick?

I thought they were gimmicky until I used the Ram splitter. Amazing how much easier it is to get right up to the bed and not have to lean over the tailgate. Same with the way the GM has the small door is nice for long lumber as well as a step. The rest of the crap like embedded speakers or using...

Is early transfer case replacement a sign of an overworked engine?

Endless reasons why it crapped out but usually not from towing. TheDo114, posts a good reason for sure. Me? I'd be more suspicious of those miles being right considering the age and the transfer going bad. The rest of it better be in the shape of 141K mile truck.

Is Turbocharged Engine Reliability Worse Than a V8? Engineer who Designed Both Explains Reality

"What!? Heresy I say! Absolute heresy!" What's that noise in the distance? Sounds like steel on flint.....yep, they're starting to light the torches......lol

GM Confirms New 2027 Chevy Silverado 1500, 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 Coming – What to Expect

Makes sense to do the V8s just like Ram did the I6, an SO and an HO. This will be where someone says they should make a simple V8 with no auto shut-off, no MDS, no turbo, etc. And then one with all the goodies. The problem is, the work V8 will never sell, and it'll die like the reg cab and...

Turbocharged, Four-Cylinder New Truck Sales Are On Fire! Is the Internet Wrong On These Trucks?

Which the Fords have already exceeded 10 years. I don't know, the way some of these engines are dropping, I'd be glad to see any cylinder count reach 10 years regardless of turbo or not.
