6 Things We Do Know About Toyota’s Raptor-Fighter, “TRD Hammer.”

With these higher speed limits, I'm always too high rpm. If I slow down to 60mph like they test, then I can hit the high teens!

    2.7 GM Turbomax Engine

Actually, I was surprised the tow rating is quite high. Around 9K in certain configs. Better than the V6 in a Ram. Should be plenty before needing to switch up to a 2500.

Yeah, but you live on the surface of a pool table....lol.

    Stellantis Hurricane 4!

Just finished watching Jason's take on this new I4 from Jeep. I knew it was innovative but didn't really think it was that innovative! To impress Jason with engineering isn't easy. The wild thing I picked up on was the lack of EGR. Didn't notice that from previous videos.

6 Things We Do Know About Toyota’s Raptor-Fighter, “TRD Hammer.”

Do any of them ever get what the sticker says unless you really try?

    What did you do today?

Damn Tim, that's one hell of an office chair. I'd never get any work done with that.

    GM's 2.7 Turbomax .. getting a boost?

Seems about right for an entry level engine. Great towing towing numbers for a 4 banger though.

Is the Ram 1500 Hurricane Engine Reliable?

Unless a big supplier issue pops up, looks like it is doing fine relative to some others. The Ram electrical issues seem to be the bigger news but even that appears to be dying down. I'm shocked they have yet to rectify the Etorque parts supply issue. Seems like someone would jump on that...

    How's the fires?

    What did you do today?

About warm enough to go out and change brakes on my truck, 45F! Needs a front wheel bearing changed as well. That'll be a lot of sledgehammer beatings.....

GM Lemon Law After 1,400 Miles? Inside One Owner’s 3.0L Duramax Nightmare

Yeah, that's just crazy that it was so convoluted for something that happened so early. Just-In-Time inventory systems are great for production of new product but absolutely terrible for spare parts.

    Bought a used 23 F-150

Love the trucks but that damn door chime drives me nuts. dooDEEdoo, dooDEEdoo Gotta be the most annoying door open chime in the industry. Although I'm sure it brings great comfort and joy to many.

Is the GM 6.2L still a bad engine?

I think it's funny how much brand hate/loyalty there is. The issues with the GM 6.2 sounds like the issue with the Toyota 3.4, the Ford transmissions, the Ram eTorque, etc. Do the actual issues exist? Sure, they do. But you still have great odds of getting one without an issue. Like everything...

Next-Gen 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Spotted – Exterior, Interior, Engines

Wow, there's a conspicuous lack of physical buttons in that center stack. Toggles on the bottom can only do so much. No big rotary knob like the EV? Hopefully it has a physical headlight switch for the die-hards. It would be nice to get a pic at night to see what lights up. Looks like clearance...

Motortrend Power Wagon vs Silverado EV Trail Boss

You're not wrong but it's truly how most truck buyers/drivers think today. I don't know of any truck users who read MotorTrend back in the day. Unless they owned a GM 3500 dually to tow their Porche to the track. But now? Trucks are the bigger choice over the sports cars for the "mid-life"...

    Buck 110 price jump

Have one somewhere from the 80s. Never really cared for the blade shape. For cheap simple utility knife, I wouldn't pay over $30. My go to is a Benchmade I bought in the 90s for $100.

    Stellantis Hurricane 4!

This is what everyone wants to know. Sometimes it seems like dogpiling. Everybody joins in if one person says it, and then that makes it truth. Extremely difficult for a manufacturer to fight that. They may go to all their dealers and collect the data of failures brought in, but the numbers end...

    Ruling from the Supreme Court

Yep, so many kept pricing and ate the difference, then there was those that passed it on. Which is why the fight will be so long.

    Used truck on the channel

Well, everyone tends to say, "Why don't they make them like they used to?". Maybe compare what your old Chevy's capabilities and features are to your RHO? Could it still be a daily driver? Can it tow? Where would it fall expressed in today's dollars for value? Tradesman? Big Horn? Obviously, the...

What It’s Like to Actually Drive the 2026 Ford Explorer Tremor From Death Valley to the Highway

"Polished diff washers"? Damn Tim, maybe Ford paid attention when you did the video about their rusty diffs on the new trucks. At least stainless washers are a start!...lol
