They had tow haul mode on, not just tow haul +. Funny enough, that's the second time they forget to set it on the tundra, they even made a video specifically about it and it turned out that tow haul + was worse when coming down the mountain but had slightly better fuel economy when going up.

Pardon my french ;) My 2022 tundra is atrocious, it's worse than my dad's F250 Tremor. But you get to learn to live with it.

Good observation! You’re right, the turning radius has pretty much disappeared from reviews. It’s one of the more useful stat about a véhicule, especially trucks.

The GMC is also the best looking of the bunch. I really liked the video and the results were pretty much what I expected. Nothing beats displacement when trying to slow down a load on a grade.

As an owner of a 22 tundra, this does not surprise me. There’s been no part change and a slight drop off in failures as model year change, but not enough for it to be a debris issue. I would not/will not be surprise when the 2025 MY gets added to the recall once most of the supply on dealer lot...
