My 2024 Ford Ranger review posted to Consumer Guide Automotive

I'm guessing you really wouldn't want to use a key to start your truck anymore @Fightnfire. That's so 2003! LOL. For $46,000, I'd expect it to be push button start. That seems like a strange place to cut costs. I suppose some people like the key, and that's fine too. And my wife definitely...

My 2024 Ford Ranger review posted to Consumer Guide Automotive

There are a few differences. Leather seats, cooled Seats, heated steering wheel, Multi-terrain monitor, digital rearview mirror, moonroof, 10 way adjustable passenger seat instead of 8 way, Push button start, digital key, Bilstein shocks, 265/70R17 tires instead 255/70, cargo rails and tiedowns...

Me too. I think Ford missed a few potential customers when the missed their original on sale dates. I wish I had been able to drive one last fall.

Mine was $54,018 I had the black badges, spray on bedliner (which I'm fine with as it's got some decent grip) and mud flaps and that was it. No SDM, no markups or dealer extras. That's with the destination as well.

Finally Got a Chance to Detail the Taco

Nice! I like that rainwater idea. It's too bad I live in the high desert! Though we do have a monsoon season.

I like it overall, but I think it would be cool if you got them together with one person per vehicle and everyone drove them on a set course. Hwy, city, trails and maybe towing. The everyone gave there thoughts and likes and dislikes of each while qualifying what type of buyer they would be...

Finally Got a Chance to Detail the Taco

It's a type of ceramic coating where graphene is added. It's supposed to help with water spotting, but I also think they are easier to apply and level. I only did a mild polish with a Dual Action polisher. If it weren't new, I might have needed to compound as well.

Finally Got a Chance to Detail the Taco

And I was able to add the Kuat Ibex rack to it today as well. The weather is not fantastic to day so I had to do garage photos:

My 2024 Ford Ranger review posted to Consumer Guide Automotive

I agree with everything except I don't know if anyone has apologized for the 1200 lbs payload in the Tacoma. I think we've said the opposite, it's barely adequate. Even the Raptor is 1300 lbs. I'm pretty confused as to the reason the heavier hybrids will apparently have better payload other...

    Cabin is bigger myth

So this was interesting today, with the vehicles side by side, Nathan says the Ranger seems a little less comfortable/roomy feeling in the back seat of the Ranger compared to the Frontier Hard Body. I think this series they're going to do comparing all the midsizers at once will be very interesting.

Hopefully you get yours soon. They really do look like great trucks!

    2025 Ram 1500 coverage

You should get the Ranger and see how that is for a year and save up for the next full-sized truck. I know you want to do the brand comparison too, but I really like the Ranger as well. If it had been available to drive and look at before January I may well have gone that way. But I'm loving the...

So that 55k Taco or the 48k Ranger are looking kind of good right now huh? LOL

    YouTube frustration lately

I think the other issue with that is that the many Americans, especially those who cannot afford the vehicle they want, end up financing their lives away because it's what they want. This perpetuates the high prices. If people stopped buying new vehicles at the higher end, more vehicles would...

Some Taco Software Quirks and First Impressions

I was pretty impressed by the payload numbers for the new Rangers though. I'm sure Raptor won't be great, but the rest of the lineup seems pretty solid.

Yeah, I think it's very much like heated seats or remote start, lumbar. Whatever feature you tried and beforehand and you thought was a gimmick and then really don't want to live without. The Tesla key system is really that good. It's good because it's not part of a subscription. I actually...

How to block a specific Youtube channel from search results (not mentioning names)

It's probably my channel! :ROFLMAO:. I'm a little looney for for sue, but you click the three dots by a video and select don't recommend this channel, but it might take a few times before it takes for whatever reason.

Inside is always hard if you leave any streaks. I think they'll work well, but me know either way. I'd love to get more options.
