Lots of lifter and cam wear issues going around for the cylinder deactivation engines. GM, Honda, and Ram all have issues that result in premature cam wear or lifter failure. This is a technology that needs to go away until made reliable.

Good Job Tim w/ '25 Ram HD Intro

I agree. I wanted to love the inline six. I tried to buy one this summer, but at $89k for a loaded limited (MSRP), the dealership just couldn't get enough money off to compare with my Chevrolet High Country. I'm curious how Tim's truck does over time. There are some very big horror stories...

Thoughts on calling out others media and/or creators

I did see my local Ram dealer with the Ram Warlocks for $39k back in December. I thought that was a solid value vehicle when you consider TFL just spent $36k for a Hybrid Maverick. I think vehicle packaging changing and potentially some relaxing of some regulations would provide for a jump...

Thoughts on calling out others media and/or creators

I could tell you were pointing out that these strategies are a short term gain. We all have to remember that for many companies, they were all chasing numbers for end of year financial reporting. I have a feeling they think they can deal with this problem in CY25...which can only be solved...
