    Worst Q1 since 2020

It may be of little comfort but remember that you got through the 2008 recession and Covid. You will get through this as well.

    Mitsubishi cut all press loans

This is not good. If they don't feel like they need the advertising that comes from reviews, they are expecting the worst.

GM full-size truck plants may stop, tariff-related supplier dispute

What I'm reading is that GM subcontracted the steering column assembly to Nexteer who subcontracted the tie rods to Primax which is in South Korea. Trump put a Tariff on auto parts coming from outside the United States and this company wants to cover their butt by demanding that Nexteer pay for...

    The Autopian

I had to give it some thought on my way home. The best that I can come up with is that for the most part The Autopian is the web version of the editorial columns in the magazines. Some of the news stuff is ok but when I want news, I'm coming to you or Jill. They do the softball,fluff,silly...

    Slate Motors

From what I've seen, about a third of Autopian readers. Figure about a quarter of them will actually buy one. Not much of a market. There is the fleets though. You don't need a crew cab to deliver parts.

I know that Kia will do well because they are established. Slate is an upstart with big backing, for now, that is showing a vehicle that the passionate have been wanting. That's what going to make it interesting for me. Are there enough buyers out there who will pay for a S-10/Ranger/early...

Does anyone remember the mini truck racing of the 80's?

Jeep, Ford, Chevy, Nissan were in it. (Not sure about Toyota) The race was "warm up" race before the main event in Indy racing. They used regular cab pickups with four-cylinder engines. Jill auto crossing the Lobo reminded me of this and I would love to see more mini trucks doing this. Ford...

2025 Ford Maverick Lobo: Autocrossing in a truck? Yep

I loved the review and hope Ford lends one to Jill so she can drive it "Chicago Style". I want to know if she'd ever use Lobo mode while driving around town. The towing features are fantastic for the people who buy this. I see people renting boats and small campers with this truck.

    How old is too olds?

Ok. Now that I'm home from work i can dig deeper here. My friend complained about the fact that you can't get a CD player in either the Bronco or Bronco Sport. He is going to get a "Diskman" style player and mount it on the dash somewhere and run it through the cigarette lighter. My brother...
