Automatic Car Washes Yeah or Nay for your Truck?

I like that liquid coating they put at the end. It works well against water.

Automatic Car Washes Yeah or Nay for your Truck?

I rarely wash my truck at car washes, but when I do, I tend to use a touch free car wash. My truck is always full of dirt and mud and I don't want the brush to collect it and scrape my paint more than it already is. At home, I usually just use the pressure washer and not even soap. I just want...

You are a 100% correct on the math. Sorry about that, I will edit my post. That's a nice split for commute. I wish I was able to rent a truck for a week for cheap to see what it would be like. This would really help me decide on my new truck.

Livestream with the Car Guy Online

It seems like people expect youtubers to bring every single problem known to man on every vehicle that you are reviewing in a particular video. Reality is, every trucks has it problems, yes that includes older trucks. People forget that even the legendary 2007-2021 Tundra had issues and still do...

Livestream with the Car Guy Online

Interesting video, reading the comments, it really feels like people don't want to hear a nuance point of view and thinks that all auto journalist are part of this big conspiracy theory to protect engineers or brands. You have been one of the most open critics about the 2022+ tundra and you...

Excellent write up! You're going to make me buy a 3.0l diesel if this keeps up hahahaha. What type of driving do you mostly do? Country roads, highway, around town? 27.9mpg is insanely good for 19 000miles driven and hand calculated. For my co-citizen, this is 8.4L/100km over 30 000km.

    Speech therapy

Hard agree about Roman, I had to stop listening to the truck podcast after Nathan departed. Roman is annoying and keeps ranting and interrupting and seems to be mostly wrong about the stuff he complains about. He has a hard time accepting that EV's are not for everybody and that the cybertruck...

Toyota Tacoma Recall: 106k for brake line failure

Tell me about it, I had to pull out my heat gun to try to melt the snow a bit from my wheels to knock it off. We got 16 inches of snow yesterday and getting another 16 on Sunday. I would not have check for a brake line as well.

Awesome thank you! Every time you do a livestream or Friday recap I wait for the podcast version to come out. Sometimes you don't publish a podcast so I listen to it on Youtube, but I prefer the podcast format.

Toyota Tacoma Recall: 106k for brake line failure

I agree, it was probably design that way to take into account suspension flex or something like that, but I think the image still helps visualize how it looks like on the truck and why it might get damaged with mud or other debris as stated in the recall.

Super curious how the conversation went, this is my next podcast after the car guy one. CTech can be great, although a little clickbaity at times.
