    I think peak torque @ 4700 is an issue on an engine powering a generator . Only reason to use the 3.6 is to save money.

    I have never seen a gasoline powered Generator for industrial use . The torgue from diesel allows for low RPM fuel savings and long life .

    A small diesel would work better as a generator, over a torque less V6 . But Stellantis has chosen profit over capable/ reliability once again .

    The only interest in Ram trucks is the comparison between the 5.7 and the 3.0 . Just get the one that will deliver the less amount of loss .

    I have off roaded Jeeps and Toyotas for over 50 years . I have never seen a Jeep FAD failure ? Lots of front U Joint and rear axle fails . Not sure what Fire guy has heard . Maybe because some old ones would fail to engage because of a leak in the vacuum line ?

    It is not surprising. Toyota gave Roman a call asking if they would like to have access to any Toyota invites or loaners in the future. Just like Ford ,Subaru ,and land rover did .

    With the GMC 6.2 can you run just 87 or can you run non ethanol gas or just the 92 oct??

    Have you done any unloaded testing on Fuel economy on your 6.2 between 91 and 87 ? The EPA i think says 1 MPG difference between the 6.2 and the 5.3 . If it turned out to be similar , with the same fuel, the 6.2 would seem to be the best choice .

    This was more about your comment on going to the dealer first . I, as an owner of an expensive truck would rather do the best i could, too figure out the problem, before hearing from a dealer service writer . I realize that TFL will get good treatment ,but us regular folk ,will not be as fortunate .
