New team members

Hey everyone,

Just wanted you to know I've been hard at work building a team to take things to the next level. I have big plans for next year as Pickup Truck +SUV Talk celebrates 10 years.

First, Cory Fourniquet is joining as an on-screen talent and news/review writer for the website. He will basically be another version of me.

Second, Andy and Mercedes Lilienthal will join as gear reviewers and occasional automotive reviewers. You'll find a lot of their work on our growing TikTok channel and some of it on the website.

Third, I've offered positions to a video editor and a website editor. I think they are both going to join and I'm waiting for contracts to be signed.

I've also started the process of putting money back into the business in various ways to build brand awareness. You'll be seeing our numbers growing quickly next year on every platform.

It is FULL throttle time!
 
Just a heads up. The Lillenthals didn't work out as planned and neither did the video editor. Just business.

I have hired a total of 4 new writers since the update above:

Larry Printz
Ben Jacobs
Michael Strong
Nicholas Kurczewski

The last three all start this month. The website has seen a dramatic improvement in growth, so I'm amping up the coverage there and going to be leaning back into short-form content. YouTube has been eh and I'm hearing from others that they are experiencing the same thing. Might just be the way it is right now. My overall business is doing quite well without YouTube which is something I can't believe I'm typing. LOL
