Just a clarification. There were some 2019 Ridgeline in that recall but my vehicle was not listed as affected by that defect. It does seem strange that the same obscure failure occurred in my Ridgeline if it wasn't a faulty part. Thanks again.
The timing of this article is remarkable to me. My 2019 Honda Ridgeline, VIN not included in recall 23V-752, is now in the Honda shop awaiting repairs for a failed camshaft thrust bearing which requires a camshaft replacement. Total cost $4,600. My Ridgeline has 89k miles and has been serviced...
